agree to these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable
laws and regulations of India.

These Terms constitute a legally binding
agreement between you and Challani Jewellery Mart, a sole proprietorship
registered in Tamil Nadu, India. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do
not use our website or services.

Challani Jewellery Mart reserves the right
to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Website after any
modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

About Challani Jewellery Mart

All transactions conducted via this Website
are subject to Indian law, including the Consumer Protection Act 2019, the
Information Technology Act 2000, the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, and the
Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.

Product Information & Purity

All gold jewellery sold on this Website is
certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and carries mandatory BIS
Hallmarking as per the Hallmarking of Gold Jewellery and Gold Artefacts
(Compulsory) Order, 2021.

All 22 Karat (22KT / 916) gold
jewellery is composed of a minimum of 91.6% pure gold. This purity is stamped
and hallmarked on every piece.

·       
All 18 Karat (18KT / 750) gold
jewellery is composed of 75% pure gold and is suitable for diamond and
gemstone-studded designs.

Each piece is accompanied by a BIS Hallmark
Certificate and, for studded jewellery, a Quality Assurance Certificate
specifying metal purity, stone quality, and weight.

Product images on the Website are
for illustrative purposes. Actual colours may vary slightly due to screen
settings, photography lighting, and natural variations in gemstones.

·       
Product weight (gross and net) is
stated on the product page. In compliance with BIS regulations, the actual
product weight may vary by ±0.05 grams from the stated weight.

·       
For studded jewellery, diamond or
gemstone specifications (carat weight, colour, clarity) are stated as minimums
or averages. Challani Jewellery Mart endeavours to provide accurate
descriptions but acknowledges minor manufacturing tolerances.

·       
Challani Jewellery Mart shall not
be responsible for variations in stone colour or cut that fall within
industry-accepted tolerances.

Pricing & Gold Rates

Gold jewellery pricing is dynamic and
directly tied to the prevailing market gold rate. All prices displayed on the
Website are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.

Prices are subject to change
without prior notice in line with daily gold rate fluctuations. The price
applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time of order
confirmation.

·       
Making charges (also referred to as
Value Addition or Wastage) vary by design and are disclosed separately on the
product page. Making charges are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in
the return policy.

·       
All transactions are processed in
Indian Rupees (INR) only. International credit/debit card transactions will be
converted to INR by your card issuer, and applicable currency conversion
charges may apply.

·       
In the event of a pricing error due
to typographical or technical error, Challani Jewellery Mart reserves the right
to cancel the order and notify the customer. If the order has been dispatched,
the customer may choose to return the item for a full refund or pay the correct
price difference.

·       
Prices for prepaid orders: if the
actual product weight differs from the displayed weight at the time of
dispatch, the differential amount will either be refunded (for lesser weight)
or an additional payment will be requested (for higher weight) before dispatch.

Orders & Payment

An order placed on this Website constitutes
an offer to purchase. The contract of sale is formed only upon issuance of an
Order Confirmation email and dispatch notification from Challani Jewellery
Mart.

We accept payment via Credit Card,
Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), and EMI options through
our payment gateway partner(s) [Razorpay / PayU / CCAvenue].

·       
All payment transactions are
processed over a secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Challani Jewellery
Mart does not store your card or banking details.

·       
An order is confirmed only upon
successful realisation of payment. In cases of payment failure, the order
stands cancelled and no charge is levied. If a charge has been debited, it will
be reversed within 5–7 business days.

·       
Challani Jewellery Mart reserves
the right to refuse or cancel any order at its sole discretion, including
orders suspected of fraud, orders with incorrect pricing, or orders that cannot
be fulfilled due to stock unavailability.

·       
For high-value orders (above
₹1,00,000), Challani Jewellery Mart may require additional identity
verification before processing the order.

·       
Challani Jewellery Mart is not
liable for any failed or declined transactions arising from issues with your
bank, card issuer, or payment gateway.

KYC & Identity Verification

In accordance with applicable Indian laws
including the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) 2002 and RBI guidelines
for high-value transactions, Challani Jewellery Mart may require Know Your
Customer (KYC) documentation.

Acceptable KYC documents include: Aadhaar
Card, Passport, Voter ID Card, Driving Licence, PAN Card, or any other valid
Government-issued photo identity proof. Challani Jewellery Mart reserves the
right to withhold dispatch until satisfactory KYC documentation is received.

Shipping & Delivery

Challani Jewellery Mart offers free, fully
insured shipping on all orders across India. All parcels are dispatched via
reputed courier partners (BlueDart / DTDC / Sequel Logistics / BVC) and are
covered by transit insurance for their full value.

Standard Delivery: 5–7 business
days from order confirmation. Delivery timelines may vary for remote PIN codes
or during peak festive periods.

·       
Expedited Delivery: Available for
select PIN codes at an additional charge, subject to courier partner
availability.

·       
All orders are dispatched in
tamper-proof, discreet packaging. The parcel will be sealed with a security
label. Customers are requested NOT to accept any parcel that appears opened or
tampered.

·       
At the time of delivery, the
recipient must present a valid Government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar Card, PAN
Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving Licence) matching the name on the order.
Delivery will not be completed without ID verification.

·       
We currently deliver only to
residential and office addresses. Delivery to hotels, hospitals, public places,
or P.O. boxes is not available.

·       
If the first delivery attempt is
unsuccessful, the courier will attempt delivery up to two more times. If
delivery remains unsuccessful, the parcel will be returned to our facility and
the customer will be contacted.

·       
Customers may modify the shipping
address only before the order is dispatched. Post-dispatch address changes are
not permitted.

·       
Any damage, missing items, or
tampered packaging must be reported within 48 hours of delivery by contacting
our customer care. Claims made after this period may not be accepted.

Returns & Refunds

Challani Jewellery Mart offers no return
policy on products purchased through our website, subject to the conditions
below. Our aim is your complete satisfaction.

team will issue a prepaid, insured return shipping label within 24 hours.

Returns are accepted limited time
from the date of delivery for jewellery in its original, unworn condition with
all original packaging, certificates, and invoice intact.

·       
Refunds will be credited via the
original mode of payment. If paid by UPI or Net Banking, the amount is refunded
directly to the source account. Card transactions will be reversed accordingly.

·       
Products showing signs of wear and
tear, alteration, resizing (by a third party), damage, or missing hallmark
stamps are not eligible for return or refund. It is also not eligible on

Customized, engraved, or
personalized jewellery, Gold coins,
gold bars, and bullion products, Jewellery
with missing original certificates, hallmark documentation, or invoice

Exchange Policy

Challani Jewellery Mart offers a comoplete
exchange policy covering both online purchases and old gold brought by
customers with original invoice and certificate of authenticity. Jewellery
that has been tampered with, broken, soldered, or repaired by a third party
will be subject to additional weight/purity deductions.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your order any time before
it has been dispatched. Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled and must
follow the Returns Policy.

To cancel an order, contact us
immediately via email or phone with your Order ID. Cancellations are processed
on a first-come, first-served basis.

·       
Upon successful cancellation before
dispatch, a full refund will be processed within 7–10 business days to the
original payment method.

·       
Challani Jewellery Mart reserves
the right to cancel any order due to: out-of-stock status, pricing errors,
suspected fraudulent activity, inability to verify KYC, or failure of payment
realisation.

·       
Customised and made-to-order
jewellery cannot be cancelled once production has commenced. A 20% advance is
non-refundable for custom orders once work has begun.

·       
Gold coins, bullion, and chip
products cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged under any circumstances
once the order is confirmed

Jewellery Care & Warranty

All jewellery sold by Challani Jewellery
Mart is covered by a 1-year manufacturing defect warranty from the date of
purchase. This warranty covers defects in craftsmanship or material under
normal use conditions.

The warranty does not cover damage
resulting from misuse, accidents, exposure to chemicals (perfumes, cleaning
agents, chlorine), improper storage, or wear and tear.

·       
Free re-polishing and cleaning
services are available at our store for jewellery purchased from Challani
Jewellery Mart upon presentation of the original invoice.

·       
Stone loss or setting damage due to
normal wear is not covered under the warranty but can be repaired at standard
service charges.

·       
Challani Jewellery Mart recommends
storing jewellery in individual pouches or fabric-lined boxes to prevent
scratching. Avoid exposing gold jewellery to harsh chemicals, perfumes, or
prolonged moisture.

User Account

To place an order, you may be required to
create an account on our website. You are responsible for maintaining the
confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur
under your account.

You must provide accurate,
complete, and current information during registration. Challani Jewellery Mart
reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to contain false or
misleading information.

You agree to notify us immediately
of any unauthorised use of your account. Challani Jewellery Mart is not liable

changed after order placement for security reasons. Contact customer care for

In the event of any dispute, both
parties agree to first attempt resolution through good faith negotiation within
30 days of notice.

If negotiation fails, disputes
shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act
1996, with a single arbitrator mutually agreed upon by both parties. The
arbitration shall be conducted in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, in the English language.

Consumer disputes may also be
raised before the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum as per the
Consumer Protection Act 2019.
