Return, Cancellation & Exchange Policy
At Challani Jewellery Mart, every piece of jewellery is crafted with
care, certified for purity, and quality-checked before it reaches you. We want
every customer to shop with complete confidence. Please read our policy below
so you know exactly what to expect.
1. Return Policy
We take great pride in the quality and purity of every jewellery piece
we sell. Each item is BIS hallmarked, individually inspected, and carefully
packed before dispatch. Because gold jewellery is a high-value,
purity-certified product, and because the price of gold is subject to daily
market fluctuations, we are unable to accept returns once a purchase has been
completed and delivered.
We strongly encourage all customers to review the product details,
gold weight, purity, making charges, and total price carefully on the product
page before placing an order. If you have any questions or need assistance
choosing the right piece, our customer care team is always happy to help before
you buy.
In the unlikely event that you receive a product that is materially
different from what was ordered, such as a wrong item or a verified
manufacturing defect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with
photographs and your order details. We will review your concern and work
towards a fair resolution, which may include an exchange of the affected piece.
2. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can sometimes change. You are welcome to
cancel your order, provided the request is made before the order has been
dispatched from our facility.

Cancellation Terms
•
Cancellations are accepted only before the
order has been dispatched. Once dispatched, the order cannot be cancelled.
•
For ready-to-ship jewellery, orders are
typically dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. We
recommend contacting us at the earliest if you wish to cancel.
•
For customised, engraved, or made-to-order
jewellery, cancellation is not possible once production has commenced, as the
piece is being crafted exclusively for you.
•
Gold coins, gold bars, and bullion products
cannot be cancelled once the order is confirmed, as pricing is locked to the
gold rate at the time of purchase.
3. Refund Policy
As our jewellery is priced based on the live gold rate at the time of
purchase, and given the nature of gold as a commodity with daily price
movements, we regret that we are unable to process monetary refunds once an
order has been placed and payment has been received.
In the case of a successful pre-dispatch cancellation, the amount paid
will be credited back to your original payment method within 7–10 business
days. This is the only circumstance under which a refund is applicable.
We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to reach out to our
customer care team before placing an order if you have any doubts about sizing,
design, or pricing. We are happy to assist.
4. Exchange Policy
While we are unable to accept returns or refunds, we are pleased to
offer a comprehensive exchange programme so that your jewellery always meets
your expectations and grows with you over time.
Challani Jewellery Mart offers a lifetime exchange on all gold
jewellery purchased from us. At any time, you may bring your jewellery to our
store or contact us online to exchange it for a new piece from our collection.
The exchange value is calculated as follows:
Conditions Applicable to All Exchanges

Original purchase invoice and BIS hallmark
certificate must be presented for all exchange requests
•
Jewellery that has been altered, repaired, or
resized by a third-party jeweller will be assessed separately and may attract a
deduction
•
Making charges paid on the original purchase
are not carried forward or refunded during an exchange
•
Exchange is not available on gold coins, gold
bars, or bullion products
